ICM | Painting with my Camera

After years of learning and loving photography I sometimes found myself to be disenchanted with my art. I live in the beautiful country of New Zealand with its spectacular landscapes, beaches and vistas, yet often nothing excited me any more.

The iconic photographs had all been taken over and over again and it was clear I had become jaded.

When I discovered Intentional Movement Photography, also known as ICM. Immediately I was hooked by the potential for creating abstracts and ‘impressionista’ style photographs of nature and my surroundings. Using my camera to paint pictures.

I became inspired to learn and master the variety of techniques needed to achieve these wonderfully abstract photographs that I was thrilled to hang on my walls, from pan blurs to impressionistic artforms.
